International Women’s Group (IWG)
Founded in 1982, IWG operates as a social organization for English speaking women. The primary focus of IWG organized activities is to assist members with making their stay in Poland a fulfilling opportunity. The group’s activities are of interest to the expatriate spouse, who is not the working partner in their household, as well as like minded women residing in and around Warsaw.

Their team of volunteers is pleased to welcome and assist you in getting used to your new lifestyle, meeting new friends but also discovering the culture of this new country. Varsovie Accueil is a non-profit association founded in 1995. It is part of the worldwide network of French welcome associations (www.fiafe.org). They have regular social, cultural and recreational activities including mother and toddler groups, sports and arts events. The “new to Warsaw” guide and their online “good addresses Register” are a must for anyone living here. They also run a Franco-English conversation class every two weeks where French native speakers meet English native speakers to improve their language skills.
